Arctic cod with potato and carrot in a tasty curry sauce. Good spicy dish with great taste of Norwegian fish. Makes it easy and enjoyable to eat more fish.
We put our pride in collecting the best ingredients from our arctic surroundings. Every REAL meal is made by our skilful team of chefs. Our unique drying process removes only the water from the original dish. This secures you a nutritious lightweight meal – easy to prepare, without removing a grain of the rich flavour.
Preparation: Tear off the top of the bag at the indentation. Add warm water (4 dl) up to the level marker. Stir well, close the bag using the ziplock and let the dish rest for 8 minutes.
Our Verdict
Real Turmat has designed a wide range of meals that are tasty, light-weight and aimed at everyone and for any kind of outdoor activity. With a good balance of weight, calories and taste the range has been very popular. The range uses a unique drying process that removes only the water from the original dish. This secures a nutritious and lightweight meal – really easy to prepare without removing any of the flavour.
There are also the ‘Field Meal’ range which are designed for a balanced diet, developed for personnel in challenging situations. They generally have more calories included to help replace those used on longer or more challenging adventures.

The cod is full of flavour but takes a little longer to rehydrate; it’s very tasty but doesn’t have a strong curry flavour and no heat, more like a fish pie.
