About the Holes: STS mesh products use ultra-fine mesh that has 80 holes per square cm (around 516 holes per square inch). The WHO recommends a minimum of 156 holes per square inch for mosquito nets and there are many products with 2-300 holes per square inch.

Our Verdict

Very lightweight piece of kit that can make a huge difference to comfort and safety – best use is when combined with a wide brimmed hat as per the photo. This Nano version is incredibly light compared with the standard net it will give the same protection but I guess must be less durable.
